Set in London in the late 1800's, this is the moving, powerful play based on the true story of John Merrick.  He seems doomed to a life as a sideshow freak, due to badly disfiguring bone and skin diseases--until Dr. Fredrick Treves takes him into his care.  From an object of pity, Merrick slowly transforms into a respected member of elite society.  His ultimate dream, however, is to become a man like any other.

 Welcome to Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast, the setting of this contemporary American farce.  Here you will meet a fascinating array of [ahem] mature friends and neighbors.  Each seems to be looking for love, with or without the aid of pharmaceuticals.  When the men's and women's remedies get mixed up, merry mayhem ensues.  If you have ever wondered how a man would cope with hot flashes, this is your chance to find out.  You don't have to be 60 to enjoy this treat of a play.
